New Horizons...

In 4½ weeks, our S.O.W. team will travel to Japan's Noto Peninsula to help families rebuilding after the 7.6 earthquake and floods of January 1, 2024. Nearly 150,000 homes were lost and a heartbreaking 656 lives have been lost.

Serving Our World is coming alongside NPO Hope Ishikawa a trusted local organization serving families still recovering from last year’s catastrophic events on the Peninsula. Many are still in temporary housing, children are struggling to return to school, and the elderly feel overlooked. Many feel forgotten as time has passed yet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs are real!

Our heart is simple: to arrive not empty-handed, but prepared to be a blessing.

Our goal: ¥1,000,000 ($6,700 USD) to purchase essential supplies. The timing is right to take advantage of the strong U.S. dollar to go even further in Japan — and together, we can make a difference.
